NanoExplorers Application
2008 Program
The Alan G. MacDiarmid NanoTech Institute at The University of Texas at Dallas welcomes applicants to participate in the 2008 George A. Jeffrey NanoExplorers Program. The NanoExplorers program is intended for high school students attending (or just graduating) 9th through 12th grade. The deadline for submitting an application packet for the 2008 program is April 15, 2008. Applicants selected for the program will be notified on or before May 1, 2008.
Application Packet
- Two letters of recommendation
- from a teacher
- from another person not related to the applicant who knows the applicant well
- A brief essay describing the applicant’s interest in science
- Release and Indemnification Agreement
signed by the applicant if he/she is 18 years of age or older, or otherwise by a parent or legal guardian of the applicant
- Medical Information and Release Form
signed by a parent or legal guardian of the applicant.
