Applications to the 2014 NanoExplorers Program must be submitted electronically. The electronic submission includes an applicant questionnaire, along with three (3) letters of recommendation. Please read the Frequently Asked Questions section of this website before beginning the application process.
Create an account on the application website. This will take you to your application forms. There are a variety of questions spread across several pages. Upon completing each page, click the "Save" button to record your answers for the questions on that page. You can go back and modify your answers at any time, and may return to the application website in the future to continue your application where you left off.
At the end of your application, you will be asked to enter the contact information of three individuals you have chosen to submit recommendations letters on your behalf. Please refer to the FAQ for advice on selecting who should provide these letters. Individuals entered here will receive an automatically generated email message providing them with further information on how to electronically submit their recommendation. Let your recommenders know that instructions for their letters will come in the form of an email from [email protected]
The last section of the application will check it for completeness. If there are any problems found, including missing answers or contact information for recommenders, you will not be able to submit your application. When the application is complete, you will be able to mark it as submitted. Marking your application as submitted is final! Once you have done this, you will be unable to modify any part of your application.
