Vladimir Pozdin




In 2006 Vladimir A. Pozdin completed dual degree program between Butler University and Purdue University in Indianapolis, double majoring in Physics and Electrical Engineering.  Undergraduate research focus was biometric recognition and optogalvanic effect in molecular discharge plasma.  For graduate school, Vladimir attended Cornell University and worked in the group of George G. Malliaras on organic electronics.  His work focus was controlled growth and characterization of small molecules and novel polymers, using scan probe techniques and synchrotron.  Vladimir’s interest in commercialization of organic electronics and integration and novel use of carbon nanotubes lead him to the NanoTech Institute.  In his spare time, Vladimir enjoys competitive rowing, dance, boxing, and long walks on the beach under the moonlight.
