Zhiwei Yang

Zhiwei Yang received a B.S. in Chemistry in 1993 from the University of Science and Technology of China and a M.S. in Chemistry in 1996 from Zhongshan University, and later worked as a Technical Service Engineer at Ato-Findley Adhesive Co. Ltd., Guangzhou, China. He then obtained a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) in 2004. Upon graduation he became a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Department of Chemistry and the NanoTech Institute, UTD. His research includes the synthesis, characterization and fabrication of novel materials for energy conversion/storage devices focusing on proton exchange membranes and fuel cells.
